A FUNDRAISING cricket match will be held in aid of three-year-old Aria in her battle with a brain tumour.
The event will take place at Bersham Cricket Club this coming Sunday (September 19) from 12 noon, and will see Bersham play Rhostyllen Football Club in a charity cricket match.
It is being held in aid of Aria Hodgkiss, from Rhostyllen, who is battling DIPG - a cancerous tumour of the brain which affects young children.
The tumour is inoperable, and life expectancy from diagnoses is between just nine and 18 months.
But Aria is currently in receipt of a potentially life-extending drug which is imported from Germany and will cost Aria's family thousands of pounds.
A GoFundMe page has raised over £11,000, and various other fundraising events have also raised thousands for the family's campaign.
And all proceeds from the charity cricket match at Bersham will also go towards the campaign.
As well as the match, there will be various forms of entertainment on offer - including a raffle, barbecue and tombola.
