A SALTNEY woman died during a meal with her daughter, an inquest heard.
Retired phone operator Ann Clark, 67, was having a meal at her home in Victoria Road on August 29 when she started choking.
She continued to struggle for breath but despite efforts by her daughter Janet and paramedics she was pronounced dead.
After a post-mortem examination pathologist Dr Mark Atkinson gave the provisional cause of death as choking.
After a brief opening in Ruthin John Gittins, coroner for North Wales East and Central, adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed.
