A CAR has been abandoned in Shotton following a road traffic collision, police report.
An appeal has been launched following the incident in which the driver was reportedly travelling the wrong way down a one way street.
North Wales Police confirmed that shortly after 9pm on Monday, they received a call reporting a two-vehicle RTC at the junction of Shotton Lane and Aston Park Road, Shotton, involving a Hyundai Getz and a Vauxhall Grandland.
The Vauxhall Grandland is reported to have been driving the wrong way down Shotton Lane, before colliding with the other vehicle.
The Vauxhall was left unattended by the driver at the scene.
Sergeant Neil Hughes said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who may have dashcam footage in the area at the time, to contact us on 101 or via the website, quoting reference 21000618849.”
