COWS have caused traffic problems in Flintshire after blocking a major road.
Traffic log INRIX stated that, at of 2pm on August 5, queueing traffic was building due to rolling road block and cattle on road on A55 North Wales Expressway.
The problem was centred on the eastbound route between J33 A5119 Northop Road (Northop) and J34 A494 Mold Road (Ewloe).
Traffic Wales also issued an alert to motorists letting them know the plan to recover the loose cattle.
Shortly after, at around 2.16pm, an alert was issued saying that the cows had all safely left the road.
Vehicles were then able to continue their journey uninterupted.
❗️There will be a block shortly Eastbound J33 Northop(Fflint/Mold) - J34 Ewloe Loop and then Westbound J34 Ewloe Loop - J33 Northop (Fflint/Mold) for the recovery of cattle in the carriageway. Thank you for your patience.❗️
