A POWER cut is affecting properties in an area of Wrexham.
Scottish Power says there is a power cut in the LL14 postcode area of Ruabon, affecting properties in a widespread area.
The company said its engineers also had to turn off power to more local properties due to a road traffic collision involving an electricity pole.
A Scottish Power spokesperson said: "We had no advance warning of this and only became aware of it at 8.52am.
"Our engineers have arrived on site and needed to turn off the power to more properties at 9.34am following a road traffic accident affecting an electricity pole.
"Our team will work to get your power back on as quickly and as safely as possible. We expect the power to be restored by 11 am.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
