A MEADOW at the National Trust’s Erddig has become a sea of blue in aid of Nightingale House Hospice.

The hospice has launched its third Sunshine Meadow this summer, selling specially designed everlasting Bluebells to help raise money for patient care.

Working with the National Trust, 1000 Bluebells made by the British Ironworks Centre in Oswestry are on display in the Moss Walk at Erddig.

A bluebell can be purchased for £30 and become a touching tribute to the life of a loved one or a beautiful gift for a family friend or relative.

Event sponsors InXpress Wrexham have been thanked for their support.

The company, part of a world-wide network, is an established local business offering tailored shipping solutions and rates to businesses throughout Wrexham, North Wales and the Shropshire area.

The Bluebells will be displayed until July 16.

When the display period is over, the metal blooms can be collected from Caffi Cwtch, Nightingale House Hospice, Chester Road, Wrexham later this year or they can be posted out to individuals if postage has been paid.

Ross Jermy, partner at InXpress said: “InXpress are proud to support Nightingale House on this fantastic display of Bluebells.

"The directors of the company have personal experience of the amazing work that is done here and we are only too happy to give back in any way that we can.”

Nightingale House In Memory Fundraiser Delyth Underwood added: “Everyone at Nightingale House is incredibly grateful to our corporate sponsors.

"Their sponsorship enables the hospice to maximise the income made from selling our beautiful Bluebells and helping to cover the hospice costs of this event.

"We are very fortunate to have InXpress as our main sponsor together with sponsors: Excell Supply Ltd, Entrec Ltd and DTCC.

“Our Sunshine Meadow is a lovely opportunity to celebrate the special people in our lives who have brought us joy and love with an everlasting memento.”
