WITNESSES and CCTV footage are being sought after police found a car "well ablaze" in Wrexham.

The call comes from Wrexham Town Inspector Luke Hughes following the incident, which took place at 2am on Sunday (June 13).

He said: "Officers on patrol noticed a vehicle on fire in the carpark at the rear of Jarmin Avenue.

"On further investigation it was apparent that a Black Ford Galaxy was well ablaze and fire service attended to extinguish and make safe.

"Initial enquiries suggest that two persons were seen in the vicinity of the location and so I would appeal for any CCTV or sightings and for contact on 101 or via the North Wales Police chat facility quoting 21000412470 should you have any information relevant."
