THIS week saw the prosecution evidence presented at the murder trial following the death of a Caia Park man last summer.

Bagnall, 42, stands accused of murdering 60-year-old Terry Edwards of Pont Wen in Caia Park.

The forklift truck driver is also charged with perverting the course of justice.

A trial began at the start of the month and is expected to last for up to four weeks.

Here’s a reminder of what went on during the week:

Monday:

THE court heard from neighbours on the Pont Wen estate who recall the last moments they saw Terry Edwards alive.

The next-door neighbour who alerted police to Mr Edwards being missing for three days spoke – along with her husband and another nearby neighbour.

Tuesday:

FRIENDS of Mr Edwards also share their final memories of seeing him alive.

The jury also heard from Rebecca Price – who describes herself and Bagnall as ‘friends with benefits’.

Wednesday:

BAGNALL’S ex-partner took to the stand and gave evidence mid-week.

Thursday:

The court was told just how serious Mr Edwards injuries were as a pathologist labelled them as ‘un-survivable’.

The pathologist that investigated his death told of the significant head injuries he sustained – and what he believed caused them.

Friday:

FINALLY, the court heard from a telecommunications expert.

He has been able to pin down when and where Bagnall sent texts, received calls and used the internet after Mr Edwards was killed in his own bedroom.
