Novels Perceptions Survey

The University of Wolverhampton's Novel Perceptions project, explores the role of novels in contemporary British culture. They recently launched their Reader Review, which aims to be the largest ever survey of attitudes towards recently published novels - they want to know how people rate the 'literariness' of novels and understand what readers really like. Novel Perceptions was launched alongside the BBC's popular Novels that Shaped Our World series, and the surveys they've created for that project are generating valuable insights into people's reading habits in terms of age, geographical location and other demographic breakdowns. If you would like to be part of this exciting survey then please visit http://novel-perceptions.thememorynetwork.com/

Book review

A Stranger in the House by Shari Lapena

A Stranger in the House by Shari Lapena

A Stranger in the House by Shari Lapena

This is a very good read, if like me, you love psychological thrillers. Tom and Karen are to everybody the perfect couple, until everything goes downhill when Karen has a car accident and ends up in hospital with a head injury causing amnesia. The police think she's involved in a murder which happened on the same night, in the same area. This is the second thriller by this author, she draws you in from the very first page and keeps you hooked until the end. I would certainly read another of her books. Tina
