The pandemic has seen more consumers look to shop local, support our high streets and seek out more bespoke or unique goods.

Helping to meet this demand, will be a new monthly contemporary arts market in Mold.

The High Street event will showcase talented, local creatives and some from further afield.

To complement the day, a range of artisanal foods will be available, from handmade jams, chutneys, preserves, sweet and savoury bakes, hot and cold foods to eat on the day or to take home.

There will be a huge range of goods on offer: homeware, fashion, jewellery, art, textiles, pottery, traditional craftwork, garden decor, small batch liquor, alternative gifts, handmade chocolates, children’s clothes, the list really is endless.

This family-friendly event, on the second Sunday of the month from June to October, will also feature attractions, entertainment and new things to try.

Check out the Facebook group Artisan Network to keep up to date with what is happening each month at the Mold event.

Mold Artisan Market is free to enter, wheelchair and buggy accessible, dog-friendly and licensed by Flintshire Council. More details can be found at www.artisannetwork.co.uk
