NEW data reveals what the most reported crimes across Buckley were in March.

In its most recent data set, Police.UK has confirmed dozens of crimes were reported throughout the town that month.

Over 100 crimes were reported across Buckley in March 2021. This includes the four separate policing wards in the area – namely Bistre East, Bistre West, Pentrobin & Mountain.

Here, we break down what was reported by YOU:

The least crimes were reported in Buckley Bistre West, where 23 in total were logged with the police.

• The most reported was violence and sexual offences, with nine reports

• Next, problems with anti-social behaviour were reported five times

• Finally, three reports of criminal damage were within the local reports

Other categories included three public order offences, two burglaries and one drug-related offence.

Compared to last March, in the month when the national coronavirus lockdown was introduced, criminals were more active in the area as police received 39 reports in 2020.

Last year, police dealt with similar reports of violence and sexual offences, anti-social behaviour and criminal damage as well as thefts and a robbery.

Moving over to Buckley Mountain, there was just one more crime report [24] in this part of the town than the quietest area.

Other categories include two public order offences, a general theft, a burglary and one drug-related offence.

Twelve months prior, in 2020, criminals were a bit quieter in the area as police received 17 reports overall for similar issues.

These included violence and sexual offences, anti-social behaviour and two burglaries.

Next comes Buckley Bistre East, were residents reported 32 crimes to police officers.

• Next, problems with shoplifting were reported six times

• Finally, four reports of violence and sexual offences were within the local reports

Other categories include three public order offences, two criminal damage calls and a general theft.

A year ago, criminals were a little bit quieter as police received 28 reports overall for similar issues. These mainly included violence and sexual offences and anti-social behaviour.

Finally, to Buckley Pentrobin, which narrowly tops the table for the four local wards. Police were busiest here with 33 crimes in March alone.

Other categories include two burglaries, two general thefts and one offence related to vehicle crime.

A year ago, criminals were much less in the area as police received 12 reports overall for similar issues. These included violence and sexual offences, anti-social behaviour and criminal damage.
