A DOG attack on livestock in Flintshire has left ewes and lambs dead.
North Wales Police's Rural Crime team said the dog (pictured) was caught attacking livestock in the Pontblyddyn area on Wednesday morning, but the owner was not present.
Sadly, two ewes and two lambs have been killed in the incident, police confirmed.
A spokesperson said: "We are currently at scene dealing with this sad occurrence.
"The quicker the new livestock act can be passed, the better."
Police had initially appealed to track down the dog's owner, but have since confirmed that the owner has now been located.
