THIS is the moment a Flintshire resident captured today's lightning on camera as it struck a nearby house.
Heavy rain and thundery showers has hit North Wales with a further week of stormy weather expected.
Thunder is already being heard in parts of Flintshire and Wrexham with heavy showers, but it will not stop there.
Although no weather warning has yet been put in place, temperatures are set to reach lows of 5C - with highs of 15C.
This video, captured by a Buckley resident who wished to remain anonymous, captures the eye-catching moment lightning strikes one of their neighbouring houses at around 3.30pm this afternoon.
The resident said: "The storm appeared to come over from Wrexham way and way right on top of us along side a huge hail storm.
"It was just a totally random unexpected storm and I certainly didn’t expect to capture the strike on video!"
