A POPULAR womenswear and lifestyle shop will be reopening tomorrow in a bigger location in Mold town centre.

Simone Ellis' shop Simmi has been selling designer clothing and accessories at several locations in Mold for 17 years.

Now, after being closed for almost six months due to lockdown, Simone is thrilled to be welcoming her customers back again to the new much larger shop in New Street.

Simone says she is delighted to be in Mold where she has been encouraged by the number of new shops opening.

She said: "I've been in Mold for 17 years. I have been closed due to lockdown but due to the loyal support from customers, we've still been doing local deliveries click and collect, we've been able to move to a bigger, more prominent location.

"I can't wait, we are excited to get back and see everybody. It will be really nice to have everybody back into store where they can try things on.

"I think people come in for the personal service, we are well-established and Mold and get to know all the faces. I'll buy with people in mind, and they get the whole experience of an independent trader. We are trying to provide the service so people don't have to travel and can support their local town.

"Mold is great at the minute - it's really nice after 17 years to see our market town thriving. I'm sure all the shops will all say the support we have had from customers has been great. It's taking things back to the old days of buy local - where people know your name and you can get a cup of coffee while you shop."

Simone and her team have been busy getting the shop ready and filling the rails with designer items from all over the world.

She added: "We sell womenswear, bags, jewellery, and gifts - a bit of everything so we are almost a lifestyle store."

The shop will be opened tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am by Teresa Carberry, mayor of Mold .
