EAGER customers had their weekend off to a good start as Wrexham's New Look store made a return.

In January, New Look announced that its store on Hope Street would not be reopening, with the building looking set to become a Job Centre.

But, after the chain teased on social media that the closure was "not a goodbye" to Wrexham, it appeared the popular fashion retailer would be returning.

New Look has taken over the old Peacocks store in the town centre and officially opened at 9am on Friday, May 7.

To celebrate, New Look staff handed out goody bags to the stores first 50 paying customers.

Store manager Debbie Mckie cut the ribbon to officially open the store this morning on Friday morning.
