It was all aboard for a special visit for pupils from a Deeside school back in April 1991.
Bryn Deva CP School, in Connah’s Quay, adopted a ship, as part of a scheme set up by the Ship Adoption Society, aimed at providing links between seafarers and schools.
Bryn Deva had the 110,000 tonne Shell oil tanker the MS Norissia.
