MOTORISTS are being urged to remain vigilant and keep taking precautions to prevent theft.
Sgt Matt Subacchi of the Flintshire North Police team said overall there has been a reduction in the number of thefts from vehicles recently.
But he urged vehicle owners to remain on their guard.
He said: "When we did have these thefts, the vast majority came about when the vehicle was insecure or there were items on show. "It's a crime we know affects the public a lot, so don't make it easy for thieves - don't leave the vehicle unlocked or leave things on show."
