A MAN has been handed a fine of more than £800 after admitting he was four times the drink-drive limit.

Kelvin Lee Maggs, of Oakleigh in Penycae, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The 52-year-old admitted that on April 10, at Oakleigh, he drove a Seat Ibiza after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath exceeded the prescribed limit.

Maggs was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 36 months.
