A CEFN Mawr man has been fined and banned after he admitted drink-driving.
Arron Merddyn Evans, of Queen Street, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The 23-year-old admitted that on April 11, at Park Road in Rhosymedre, he drove a motor vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath exceeded the prescribed limit.
He was found to have 58 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35.
Evans was fined £500 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50, as well as £85 costs.
He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.
