NEW figures reveal what the most reported crimes in Queensway were over February.

In its most recent data set, Police.UK has confirmed dozens of crimes were reported throughout the community policing ward that month.

Here, we break down what was reported by YOU in Queensway:

A total of 51 crimes were reported across Queensway in February 2021.

These included:

• The most reported was violence and sexual offences, with 23 reports

• Next, anti-social behaviour problems were reported 12 times

• Finally, six reports of criminal damage covered the local reports

Other categories saw reports of four public order cases, three thefts, two burglary reports and a further one of robbery.

Compared to last February, a month before the national coronavirus lockdown, criminals were less active in the area as police received 32 reports in 2020 – a drop of 37 per cent.

Last year, police dealt with 18 reports of violence and sexual offences, three calls of anti-social behaviour, three lots of criminal damage.

They also handled burglary, theft, public order incidents as well as one report of someone possessing a weapon in public.
