A REMARKABLE Wrexham woman who is 'loved by all' has celebrated her 100th birthday.

The coronavirus pandemic has brought on many challenges, none less than care home residents who were unable to see their loved ones for their own safety.

Visiting completely changed with many family members taking to visiting loved ones through windows.

However, as lockdown begins to ease gradually, visiting is currently allowed outdoors in care homes in Wales.

This came at the perfect time for Constance Glover who turned 100 on April 20.

Constance, known as Connie, is a resident at Ashleigh Court care home in Gresford.

On her special day, she enjoyed a party with staff and residents and was visited by her family in the garden.

A spokesman for the care home said: "Connie is a wonderful mum, grandmother and great grandmother and is loved by all."
