A MAN has been fined and banned after he admitted drug driving on the A55 in Flintshire.
Neville Pitt, of Cornishway in Manchester, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The 58-year-old admitted that on August 29 last year he drove a motor vehicle on the A55 at Northop when the proportion of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (cannabis) in his blood exceeded the specified limit.
He was found to have 4.3 microgrammes of the substance per litre of blood - the limit being 2 microgrammes.
Pitt was fined £120 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34, as well as £85 costs.
He was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving license for 12 months.
