POLICE in Flintshire want to reassure people that a child is not missing from the Hawarden area.
On Wednesday, there were comments on social media speculating that an eight year old had gone missing.
Both North and South Flintshire teams used their social media accounts to inform people that this was not the case.
Police tweeted: "North Wales Police is aware of reports circulating of an eight year old child missing from the Hawarden area.
"To confirm, there has not been any report of this having happened and would like to reassure the community."
