A NEW defibrillator will be located at the Premier Stores shop on Abenbury Road in Wrexham.
Clerk Michael Morris told members of Caia Park Community Council that the equipment would be co-funded with Abenbury Community Council as it would benefit both communities.
Caia Park council is awaiting a reply from the Co-op on the estate about whether a defibrillator could also be located there.
The community council also intends to locate a defibrillator at the estate office in Kinglsey Circle.
The council will secure the potentially lifesaving pieces of equipment from the Welsh Ambulance Service.
Caia has also discussed the placing of defibrillators with Offa and Acton community councils to avoid duplication.
