RESIDENTS in Wrexham have been urged to be vigilant after garages were broken into in Bwlchgwyn.

The warning came from the North Wales Police Community Safety team on Wednesday afternoon.

A spokesman said: "Garages were broken into in the Bwlchgwyn area.

"Please mark tools you store in your garage and chain expensive garden machinery and tools.

"Try and make it as difficult as possible for intruders and opportunists - install a shed alarm."
