A WREXHAM woman has been banned from driving and fined after being caught driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
Jessica Stokes, of Wrexham Road in Marchwiel, admitted to the offence before North East Wales Magistrates Court on Tuesday, March 30.
Last year, on September 19, Stokes was stopped from driving a Renault Clio.
The 24-year-old was found to have traces of Delta 9 Tetrahydrocannibinol – a strain of cannabis – in her bloodstream.
The reading of 5.1ulg exceeds the specified legal limit.
As a result, she was banned from driving for 12 months. The courts fined Stokes a total of £120, along with requiring £119 to cover court costs.
