A FLINTSHIRE man has been fined for driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
Jan Stephan Wynn, of Ash Grove in Mold, appeared via a video link before North East Wales Magistrates Court on Monday, March 29, having admitted to the offence.
The court was told that on August 22 last year, the 35-year-old was stopped from driving his BMW 5 Series in the A494 near Alltami.
When tested, he was found to have 10ug/L of Delt-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol – a cannabis compound – in his bloodstream.
This exceeded the legal limit.
As a result, the court imposed a financial penalty of £199 upon Wynn – which includes fines and court costs.
He was also banned from driving for a year.
