A MOLD man has been handed a community order after attacking three police officers.

North East Wales Magistrates Court heard on Monday, March 29, that Ryan Ian Lee Calvert, of Ivy Crescent in Mold, admitted to the assaults.

The court was told that, on August 8 last year the22-year-old assaulted PC Gentle, PC Roberts and SS O'Shaugnessy in the Mold area.

He was also charged with being in possession of 7.53g of ketamine.

Calvert was ordered to pay £545 including fines and fees – as well compensation to his victims.

Along with 200 hours of unpaid work within the next year, he must also complete a programme requirement for 35 days and a rehabilitation activity requirement.

An order was also made for Calvert's ketamine to be destroyed
