The Federation recently held a very special virtual Easter raffle and bingo event.

Being three small schools, fundraising is incredibly important and can often be a challenge.

However, the excitement over some amazing prizes and the opportunity to get together as a Federation, with their dabbers and lucky numbers, brought the event great success.

A total of £339 was raised to be shared between the three schools, Froncysyllte CP School, Ysgol y Garth and Ysgol Pentre.

This 'full house' was helped made possible with the support of local businesses, who donated brilliant prizes.

Headteacher, Melanie Ferron-Evans, said: “I find working with the PTI invaluable. It allows the school to develop links with other schools across the UK, which ensures that best practice in school teaching and leadership are shared.

“We are very proud to be the only school North Wales to be a member and look forward to continuing to work closely over the coming years.”

Youngsters got to enjoy all the fun of the occasion with their friends, as they took part in lots of party games

It has been a year since schools first closed their doors for face to face learning.

In that time, children have celebrated their birthdays under restrictions.

Emma Jones, acting headteacher, was keen to give every child the opportunity to have a birthday party to celebrate their birthdays over the last 12 months.
