POLICE are clamping down on "anti-social behaviour" in Saltney following a rise in incidents which has included "mindless damage" being caused to the town's football club site.
A dispersal order will be enforced this weekend to tackle problem areas in the community where large groups are congregating.
North Wales Police said: "Following a recent rise in anti social behaviour and mindless damage to a superb community facility at Saltney Town Football Club we will be enforcing a dispersal order over the coming weekend in the Saltney area.
"Officers will be targeting problem areas within the community and enforcement undertaken where necessary.
"We want to make it clear these large groups should still not be congregating.
"We are still in a global pandemic and persons need to be reminded of their responsibilities to themselves and others. Lets protect each other."
