Wat's Dyke CP School, Garden Village
Pupils had plenty to celebrate recently, with St David's Day and a school donation.
The Upper Foundation Phase classes - Dosbarth Blodyn Haul, Dosbarth Rhosyn and Dosbarth Blodyn Menyn - dressed up for St David's Day.
They learnt about Saint David and Wales in a week full of activities that included: making 3D daffodils, observational drawings of daffodils, writing Welsh poems, creating leaflets to advertise local Welsh tourist attractions, creating menus using Welsh 'Bwyd' vocabulary and much more.
The children proved very passionate about their country and love learning the Welsh language in school.
There was also a kind donation made to the school.
Travis Perkins donated wood, bark, cable spools and other items, which have been used to develop and enhance the school's Foundation Phase outdoor learning areas. Wat's Dyke continue to be grateful for their support.
