MEMBERS of the public are being reminded to remain aware of covid vaccine fraudsters.
The North Wales Police community safety team circulated the advice this week.
A spokesman said: "Please be aware of fraudsters taking advantage of the NHS COVID test.
"Sadly people are trying to scam people out of money for a fake and non existent COVID test.
"There is no charge for the vaccination yet scammers are asking for payment over the phone."
Advice shared by the team states that people are typically receiving emails, text messages and phone calls with offers to 'jump the queue' in return for payment or confidential details.
The public has been reminded that there is no charge for the covid-19 vaccination, so any such requests are fraudulent.
