A CARAVAN in Llangollen has been destroyed in an accidental fire, it has been confirmed.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call just after 7.10pm on Friday evening reporting the incident, in Abbey Road.
Two crews from Llangollen attended the scene and used a hose reel jet, a set of breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera to tackle the flames.
A spokesman for the service told the Leader the touring caravan was destroyed in the incident, which happened accidentally due to a gas fire inside being too close to combustible articles.
The crews remained on the scene until just before 7.50pm.
Nobody was injured, the spokesman added.
