A MAN has been handed a conditional discharge after he admitted providing a false statement when renewing a shotgun certificate.
Roger James Robinson, 46, of Lower Wych in Malpas, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
He admitted that in Wrexham on September 2020, for the purpose of procuring the renewal of a shotgun certificate, he knowingly or recklessly made a statement which was false in a material particular - in that he failed to disclose medical information.
Robinson received a 12 month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22, and £85 costs.
