People and schools have been sharing their St David's Day photos, celebrating in their own ways this year as covid restrictions have forced the occasion to be downsized.
Ysgol Ty Ffynnon, in Shotton, asked children to come into school wearing something that represents what Wales means to them.
This has also coincided with the return of all children in Foundation Phase.
A spokeswoman said: "It is great to hear the sound of children's voices around the school again and we are looking forward to the junior children returning."
Jan George is hoping to continue a family tradition with her grandaughter.
She said: "This is my grandaughter Avie Dawn George, and this is her first St David’s Day.
"I remember when I was younger my taid, Frederick Wright, always took me to the Leader office in my Welsh outfit and my picture was in the Leader.
"Hopefully I can now carry this on with my granddaughter Avie, born during lockdown on May 7, 2020 to Em and Connor."
