POLICE searching for a missing woman found Malpas have found a body.
North Wales Police confirmed a body of a woman was discovered in Holyhead yesterday (Tuesday, February 23).
It follows a search for 42-year-old Helen Probin who was reported missing from Malpas.
She had last been seen in the Penrhos Feilw area at around 8am on Monday, February 22.
Police say that formal identification is yet to take place, but added that the family of Mrs Probin has been informed.
North Waes Police said: “Following our recent appeal with regards the whereabouts of 42-year-old Helen Probin from Malpas in Cheshire, sadly the body of a woman was discovered in the Penrhos Feilw area of Holyhead shortly before 10am this morning.
“While formal identification has yet to take place, the family of Mrs Probin have been informed.
“The Coroner for North West Wales has also been notified."
