A WREXHAM man was found dead at home on his birthday the day after complaining of feeling unwell.
Richard Alan Ellis, 36, died at his home on Trevenna Way on November 22, 2020.
An inquest into the death of Mr Ellis was opened at Denbighshire County Hall in Ruthin on Monday (February 22).
The inquest heard that were that Mr Ellis had complained of feeling unwell the day before his death.
Mr Ellis was subsequently found dead his chair on November 22 - the day of his birthday.
A post-mortem examination was undertaken with a provisional cause of death given as aspiration pneumonia due to combined benzoylecgonine (metabolite of cocaine) and tramadol toxicity.
The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
