SEVERAL main roads in Flintshire and Wrexham have been badly affected by flooding as Storm Christoph batters North Wales.
The A541 Mold Road is one of the worst affected as the River Alyn bursts its banks.
The A5118 Chester Road in Padeswood is closed due to flooding, and Llangollen Road between Llangollen and Acrefair is badly affected, as well as the A5 in that area.
The A548 Coast Road has been closed between Ffynnongroyw and Talacre.
The A494 in Alltami, near Mold, is also heavily flooded.
The A541 Wrexham to Mold Road at Pontblyddyn is closed from the Wylfa roundabout towards Wrexham, and a section of Mold Road has also been closed in Broughton.

Killins Lane in Shotton is heavily flooded.

The Coast Road in Mostyn is heavily flooded, with a car seen here receiving assistance from the fire service after getting stranded. This photo was taken earlier today and latest reports are that the road is now completely flooded now.
