A SHOTTON man has been disqualified after he admitted drink driving on Christmas Day.
Kristiyan Plamenov Bogdanov, of Shotton Lane, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old admitted that he drove a VW Golf on Aston Park Road in Shotton on December 25 last year after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath exceeded the prescribed limit.
He was found to have 77 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The limit is 35 microgrammes.
Bogdanov received a fine of £290 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34, as well as costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 18 months.
