Police used a image of Del Boy and Rodney to warn people not to fall for scams.
POLICE are warning people to beware of Del Boys looking to take advantage of people looking for a bargain.
The warning comes after two people bought televisions on the street in Holt Road, Wrexham, on Tuesday.
The televisions didn't work, leaving the buyers out of pocket.
North Wales Police's community safety team used a photo of dodgy market traders Del Boy and Rodney from Only Fools and Horses along with the warning.
It said: "Two people bought TVs from unknown persons yesterday on Holt Road in Wrexham. The sellers drove off and surprise surprise the TVs didn't work.
"Don't be conned , buy off reputable dealers/shops. If it seems too good to be true then it most likely is."
