A DEESIDE family were left shocked when an air rifle was fired at their front window while they were eating their Christmas dinner.
The incident occurred on Mold Road in Connah's Quay on Christmas Day and left the family's front window shattered.
The family had a toddler and a baby in the front room at the time of the incident - with both thankfully left unharmed.
Mrs Edwards who lives at the affected address, said: "Someone in the area must know who was out on Christmas night and who owns a pellet gun.
"The fact we had a toddler and baby in the front room at the time means it could have been a lot worse."
People have taken to social media to describe the incident as "disgusting", "shocking" and "awful".
The matter has been reported to North Wales Police which is investigating.
