A BEDROOM has been drestoyed in a Connah's Quay house fire, it has been confirmed.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed a call was received at 5.20pm on Friday reporting the incident, in Dodds Drive.

Crews used two hose reel jets, two sets of breathing aparatus and a thermal imaging camera to tackle the flames.

A spokesman said one casualty was given a precautionary check at the scene.

The incident resulted in 100 per cent fire damage to a bedroom and 75 per cent smoke damage to the first floor of the property.

The cause is currently undetermined.
