FOUR men "forced their way" into the home of a Wrexham couple, police have said.
North Wales Police has launched an appeal following the incident, which happened on Thursday.
A spokesman said: "Appeal to trace four men who forced their way into the home of a couple in Peel Street Wrexham around 6.10pm, Thursday November 19.
"They claimed they were looking for an intruder before making an untidy search and running away.
"One disconnected the phone when the victims attempted to call 999.
"The offenders had Irish accents and wore dark clothes.
"If you saw any suspicious people or vehicles call 101 [with reference] 2000070409."
