THE winners of this year's Best Dressed Window Competition have been announced.
During the month of October, Wrexham Council encouraged businesses in the town centre to take part in the 'autumn-themed' competition.
A spokesperson for the council, said: "We would like to thank all the businesses that took part.
"The window displays brightened up the high street, and brought some autumnal cheer to the town centre."
The winners of the Mayor’s choice award went to Gerrards on Queens Street, with store manager Michelle Powis accepting the trophy on behalf of the shop.
The people’s choice award went to Snip ‘n’ Tuck based inside the General Market, with owner, Rachel Prince, receiving the trophy.
Ms Prince took to social media to share her excitement at winning the prize.
She posted: "Thank you so much to all who voted.
"I only went and won people's choice of best dressed window display.
"I am still in shock.
"Big well done to all the other amazing displays, and also a thank you to the Mayor, the council and fellow traders."
