Martin Gordon
THE body of missing Malpas man Martin Gordon has been found in the River Dee, police have confirmed.
An underwater search team have been searching the river in Farndon since the weekend.
Sadly, Martin Gordon’s body was found in a car in the water earlier today (November 9).
The 30-year-old’s family have been informed.
Cheshire Police said formal identification has taken place and Martin’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a case file will be prepared for the coroner.
Officers would like to thank members of the public for their support during the search for Martin and request that his family’s privacy be respected at this difficult time.
