A WREXHAM church is appealing for public donations following loss of income due to Covid-19.
The St Giles' Parish Church, which is the largest church in Wales, is now relying on the generosity of the public to support them, following months of financial hardship.
A spokesperson for St Giles, said: "During the pandemic, almost all of our fundraising activity has had to stop.
"As our income is seriously down, and our reserves are going to be depleted, the Church is highly dependent on the generosity of your donations."
The Church have stated that the public can donate in a number of ways, but due to the virus, they are trying to avoid the handling of cash.
The most effective ways in which donations can be made include Standing Orders or online payments.
The spokesperson added: "We thank you for generously supporting us in our mission to be a visible and active Christian witness at the heart of Wrexham."
For further information on the different methods donations can be made, contact St Giles on 01978 355808.
