YSGOL PENTRE CIW, Chirk

The Leader:

Pupils have been participating in Forest School activities, which have included weaving to make a 'rainbow tree, it's bigger than me!', using clay to make leaf prints, and creating environmental art from their surroundings. Den building has been a big hit too!

ST MARY'S CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL, Flint

The Leader:

The school has been fortunate to have had expert coaching from a fabulous team of coaches from Cricket Wales.

They were very lucky to have an extensive and spacious outdoor provision on site and the smiles on everyone's faces were a testament to the excellent opportunity provided by Chance2Shine.

All the children in Key Stage 2 department had great fun practicing a range of ball skills whilst developing their bowling techniques.

As health and wellbeing is a priority this term, the opportunity to undertake such fun physical activities was very rewarding.

Every child in Key Stage 2 has learned new skills which can be transferred to other field games. Already identified are some real stars in the making and the enthusiasm shown by all was fantastic.

ALUN SCHOOL, Mold

The Leader:

Year 13 student Louie Woodland-Griffiths is pictured with some of his work.

He is a visual artist focusing on subjective and objective expression through fashion, the human body and mind and personal interests.

Louie said: "My work is a progression, constantly developing and learning new ways to visualise my thoughts and opinions."
