Offa police officers with Rufus
PC David Smith from Offa Neighbourhood Policing Team “The aim of Offa October is to deter and disrupt those that cause our community most harm.
"There will be an increased uniformed police presence in the area during the month. We recently launched Operation Blue Instinct to prevent burglaries and protect vulnerable residents by working alongside our partner agencies and stakeholders.
"Successful drugs warrants as result of intelligence provided by local residents and stop searches with the assistance of Rufus have been carried out, with more to follow very soon.
"The message is clear, action will be taken against those that think they can cause criminality in our area, expect a knock at your door soon”
