A POLICE officer has been taken to hospital after getting injured while making an arrest in North Wales.
North Wales Police confirmed that the officer was responding to a 'public order incident' on the Maesgeirchen estate in Bangor when they were injured.
They have been taken to hospital with 'non-life threatening' injuries.
A spokesman for the force said: "A Police Officer has been injured following an incident in Maesgeirchen, Bangor.
"At around 4:30pm (October 5) officers attended to a public order incident on the Tan-y-Bryn area of the estate.
"During the arrest of a male at the location an officer was injured and was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd with non-life threatening injuries.
"Anybody with information is asked to contact us on 101 quoting incident number Y147130.
"Officers have since left the area."
