THERE has been a confirmed coronavirus case at a Flintshire school.
Flintshire Council confirmed they have been informed about a confirmed case of Covid-19 at Ysgol Bryn Gwalia.
No pupils have been advised to self-isolate.
Flintshire County Council’s Chief Officer for Education and Youth, Claire Homard, said: “The County Council has been informed of and is advising on a confirmed case of Covid-19 at Ysgol Bryn Gwalia.
"The school has followed all the appropriate protocols and engaged with the NHS Test, Trace and Protect (TTP) Team and the Council’s Environmental Health Team and there is no wider impact on the school community. The school remains open and it is not necessary for any pupils to self-isolate.”
